qTek 9100 User review
As I am using the qTek 9100 for 2 years, I have to tell the following about this product:
Pro:
- Indestructible
It has fallen lots of times and survived in all of its functionalities: only some scraps. One time even it fell on a rock hurting the screen: just a small scrap! (I am not treating it very well) - More than one Bluetooth connection at the same time
Usually when I am using TomTom (with bluetooth antenna) I make calls with the headphone. - Indestructible opening keyboard
Also the keyboard (which has to be extracted) isn’t easy to break.
Cons:
- Slow with heavy apps
TomTom and PocketCM run very good, but if you install some other heavy apps the system will slow down - No GPS antenna
An interesting functionality that the 9100 does not have is the internal GPS antenna. However I use it with a bluetooth one. - No support for the X protocol extension for WiFi
- When rotating the display, if you have the focus in a textbox of the calendar or task application, the focus will be lost
Verdict
I would rate the hardware 5 to 5, however the software (Windows Mobile 5) is not as good.
